As The Powell Team we would like to serve your real estate needs along Alabama's Gulf Coast and in South Baldwin County. Our team consists of Kathy and Kris Powell and above all else we are 'available' for you. We offer you some 35 years of real estate experience in this area. In those years we have worked hard to gain a wide variety of real estate knowledge in areas that can help you get the most from your real estate experience on the Coast. We have worked with Baldwin County, the City of Gulf Shores, the City of Orange Beach and others on zoning issues, building permit issues, flood zones and other rules and regulations we are governed by. We have worked extensively with U.S. Fish & Wildlife on the Alabama Beach Mouse issue and Incidental Take Permits and the protection of our Sea Turtle population. We have dealt with a number of the insurance providers to find the best available home insurance, flood insurance and wind coverage for our clients in this Coastal market. We have worked with several attorneys to help our clients with 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges. We have developed relationships with several of the lenders in our area to help our clients with their various financing needs. We have developed working relationships with several builders and those in the remodeling and property maintenance business to help our clients maintain their beach properties.
